The Flood
There have been many floods in my marriage. Times with emotions runs so high there is no gate high enough to hold them in. The highs and lows have made us stronger. My husband is a different man from the one I married. Some of the changes have been bad, but the others wonderful. The bad choices he made early on haunt us to this day, he didn't think he needed to depend on others. Through those hard times he has learned two things, I am here for him. As his wife I will stand with him. God is stronger then both of us, we need to have faith in him. Today my husband is a better man, he is loving, giving and strong. He is a better father to our children, he has more patience and a more active role in their lives. Our current flood is one that we will face often, what is best for our children and how do we best provide it. How to balance the needs of our daughter and provide a normal life for all of our kids. We're putting our trust in God, the professionals working with our daughter and each other.
