Ouch...

I had two wisdom teeth removed yesterday and while the day is still very young I'm feeling good. I have all the nerve feeling back so that scary thing where the doctor said I might not be able to feel my right side of my mouth again didn't happen! YAY of course it follows that scary warning part with "it's really rare" so I didn't think it would happen to him. It turned out to be pretty straight forward all around.

Two thing that really stunk the big needle needed to numb my mouth hurt when it found the nerve it needed to numb and drinking blood. Blood really isn't my drink of choice, but other wise it's easier then the only other surgery I've ever dealt with, c/section. Of course if you're comparing the two so far they haven't been that different (other then the cut in half feeling a c/section brings to the table) To start they numb you up, check to see what you can and can't feel, tell you what the warning sign is if you feel pain and not pressure, warn you that they will tape your hands down if you reach up, and then do their thing. In some ways my three sections got me ready for yesterday. It wasn't odd to be told they would tape my hands down, because that happened in my first section. It wasn't strange that they poked me to see what I could feel because that happened with all three sections and I wasn't afraid to say "hey I feel that" because I've done that before.

If I had to pick, I'd take getting teeth pulled over a section. Best thing to come out of a section is a baby and I have my hands full as it is! No more babies and no more sections for me!
