Sparks Flew

What happens when you let a four year old with a listening issue sleep in the dining room, with a night light and fake army dog tags? If you guessed, sparks flying, a small burn and a screaming child... pat yourself on the back! Grandma is currently visiting and using the boy's room. He loves getting to sleep in other rooms of the house, if only he'd listen. Before the sparks flew he had brought the night light to me in the living room. Something was "wrong" with it as her said. So I went and plugged it in, it worked fine so I told him to go to bed. He laid under it and promised not to mess with it again. That lasted all of three minutes, sitting in the living room I see a bright flash and then hear a child scream. He has put his dog tags in between the out light and night light and completed a circuit that wasn't meant to be. Thankfully he's alright.
