Giving...

I love to give to charity, my only issues is I'd rather people not know about it. So in the grocery store when I'm asked to give, I fumble for words. I hate to be watched giving or for that matter not being able to give. There have been times where, it just wasn't possible and believe me I made myself feel guilty enough. I understand why they ask you, more people give if someone is watching. I wish it wasn't that way. Giving to charity is something that should come from your heart and you should do it because you want to. Not because a cashier asked you and the person behind you might think your a jerk if you don't. But what chaps me even more is when someone gives and makes a huge deal about it. Then it's like they did it to say "look at me and how much I gave to x!" Oh well at least the person making a huge deal out of it is giving. Sigh I guess no matter what it annoys me, maybe it's a sign to crawl back into bed. One that I should not ignore...
