Missing Jordan

Looking back on when we said good-bye three years ago. I wish, I would of gone with you to the vet. I wish, I would of been there to comfort you in your final moments the way you comforted me many times through my life. Even now, in the wee hours of the night when I have drifted off to sleep and dream you comes to comfort me in my sorrow.

I took a walk with my kids today and there was a black and white cat in the window and I found myself missing you. You were great with kids, I bet my children would of tested you to your limits. Yet, I trust that you would not bite them, you'd swat your tail in annoyance before finally getting up and walking away. You were a trusted friend, never judging. I spent a few times crying with you by my side. You were always willing to comfort me when I needed you.

Jordan is in a better place now, one where he is free to do as he pleases. He no longer has to worry about fighting with another cat, for he is top cat all the time. Love you, Jordan. I hope to see and pet you again.
