Twinkle Twinkle Little Star has never sounded so sweet. You have to listen closely and know what she's singing before hand. But she sings, she'll sing alone or quietly along with you. But there is no doubt she'll sing that song. Why it has touched her, why she won't sing another song or if she even knows what the words mean are all questions I have no answers for. But she sings and it melts my heart to hear her use words. Not giggles, screams or random sounds, but words in an order. In our moments of singing, we connect. It's in a small way and I may never know how much these moments mean to her. But I know what they mean to me and they bring me great joy. I spread the word of these small moments to anyone who will listen. I want people to feel joy over the smallest of things in their own lives.
Things I know, she sees me as source of comfort when she is hurt, a source of food or drink when she needs them, a source of fun when she wants to play and of course as a jungle gym. If she knows I'm "Mom" doesn't matter as long as she knows I love her.
This is incredibly sweet and brought tears to my eyes. You have truly captured what it means to be a mom!
